To Our Valued Customers,

On behalf of everyone at Recycle City, our hearts go out to all impacted by COVID-19. Those diagnosed with the virus, their family, friends and everyone who’s job and schooling has been impacted.

Our focus, as always, is on the health and safety of our employees, customers and community.

As the situation is changing rapidly, Recycle City has drastically increased our sanitization procedures to slow the spread of the virus. As of March 17, 2020, we are waiving the signing of scale tickets until further notice.

Recycle City will remain open with regular hours of operation. Monday – Friday  7 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 3 pm. If this circumstance needs to change, we will advise immediately.

Thank you all for your loyalty throughout this difficult time.

We Love Our Planet

It's a Responsibility and a Passion!

As the name implies, Recycle City strives to recycle as much of the waste it receives as possible, including construction and demolition waste, to do its part for the environment. To ensure a cleaner, greener future for our children.

  • 50% of the 254 million tonnes of trash North Americans throw away is recyclable. Unfortunately, just about 34% of the 254 million tons of trash actually gets recycled.
  • Recycling one tonne, or 2,000 pounds of paper, could save landfill space measuring 3.3 cubic yards. That’s 33 cubic yards for every 20,000 pounds of paper recycled.
  • Recycling 2,000 pounds of paper could also save 17 trees. Every 10 tonnes of paper recycled can save 170 trees.

Together we have the collective power of our generation to have a positive impact in protecting our planet for future generations to come!

At Recycle City our goal is to recycle 95% of what gets dropped off at our transfer station!
